scanner apps that scan

Are there any Scanner Apps that can monitor mutiple feeds at the same time? All the ones I see just monitor one feed at a time and you hear what ever that feed covers. I found a cool App called ActionScanner which seems to allow that but its filled with problems and always freezes up.

That's the only one I've found that will "listen" multiple feeds during a given session. I haven't experience any freezing issues, however.

Never mind! I found it in the App Store. It appears to be an Apple only app. This is why I carry both devices!

I sometimes envision the ham radio and scanner hobby evolving into an all mode communications station housed in a heavy duty military-styled diver watch or wrist cuff. Phone, apps, ham radio, SDR all mode all band digital scanner, internet email, GPS, X-camera, one-touch weather, you name it I guarantee it will be on there. Today's technology will be almost prehistoric compared to the XT Generation. We, as radio buffs and hobbyists, are living in a very dynamic era regarding technology and science, human nature and evolution, and the Progress of Man. It's a hoot, ain't it?

pb_lonny you said a mouthful right there. What if everybody providing streams were to suddenly stop, and app listeners had to go out and actually buy a scanner. What a novel concept.

One of my friends found this thread the other day and downloaded Action Scanner. When he showed it to me I went to Walmart and bought a prepaid iPhone 6s for $149 just to use on WiFi with this app. I only use it to listen to agencies I can't receive with my own scanners. I keep the device in airplane mode with no SIM and have had zero issues with the app.

For Windows I use ScannerLive where you setup 10 links to any streams you like that are "scanned" and you can set priority to the streams. It works really well. I will search through the appstore to see if there are any similar for the iPhone.
