Scanner for Monmouth County TRS/NJICS

I am looking for a scanner that does Monmouth County TRS, NJ ICS and VHF conventional. I am looking at the Uniden SDS200. I have been a whistler guy but that seems to be out of the question now.

The scanner needs to be able to only receive the talkgroups its programmed to and not needing updating all the time to lock out any new talkgroups.

Please let me know what you think.

Yep, you'll be very happy with the SDS 200 scanner. I have the SDS100 that I monitor Monmouth County, NJICS, and VHF analog, and would not recommend anything else at this point as far as a scanner goes. Unications are a different ballgame. If you do the programming yourself, you'll never need to do any updating, unless you want to update the firmware via Sentinel programming software.
