Scanner for Toronto

Hey guys! Currently looking at buying the BCD325P2 for use in Toronto. Looking to use it mainly for OPP, Toronto Fire and surrounding fire services. I also travel a lot to areas where the OPP is the police service.

Currently have the BC346XT so ive heard the 325P2 is similar in function and layout. Is this a good choice? And if anyone has one, are you happy with it? I'm intermediate with my knowledge of scanners so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

that will work.you can also consider any used phase 1 capable p25 scanners that might be cheaper.

What I was lead to believe and read is that most systems are going to Phase 2. And what I assume is that Phase 2 will pick up Phase 1 as well. Or how does it work?

Phase 2 capable scanners will also handle Phase 1, no problem.
