Since you need digital, I would suggest the PRO-96. If you are partial to Uniden, a great one to look at might be the BCD396T coming out this summer. It appears like it may be the best scanner yet. Read the BCD396T thread on the Uniden forum or the BCD396T Yahoo Group.

Of course, also read the PRO-96 vs BC296D thread to compare the two. It appears most of the comparison will apply to the BCD396T except where otherwise mentioned on the BCD396T resources. (I.E. up to 5500 channels, has Close Call, dynamic memory management, etc.)

I am not sure what you mean by this, there is no such thing as LTR digital much less APCO 25 LTR. :?

In any case, based on your description above, I am assuming your current radios are actually fullfilling your needs at this time, my recommendation, like Joe's, would be to wait. We all know that new radios are in the works and I suspect Radio Shack (based on latest flyer with Pro-95 on clearence) is getting ready to release something, probably the much anticipated Pro-2096 but maybe something else.

Figured the Pro 94 would be cleared out before the 95 just my thought.

The 94 isn't RS made. So just keep that in mind.
Umm, RS makes nothing. They are a retailer. They contract everything with the RS brand on it to someone else, so I am not sure what you mean by this comment. :?
