Does anyone know how to reduce interference between 2 seperate scanners? I have 2 scanners ( a PRO-2040 and a PRO-2042) connected to one external antenna through a "T" and I am getting sound on certian channels from each scanner. Is there a way to reduce this in any way without having to put them on seperate antennas?

Thanks
Matt

Yes there is a way like Voyager pointed out. You do know that you are loosing a ton of your signal having the antennas hooked up that way dont you?

Thanks

I don't know about a ton. You're losing 3dB. That means you will (barely) be able to notice a difference of the signal strength, but it's not a 'ton' of difference. The larger problem is the one you have - mutual interference between the scanners.

Simple answer: Dont use a [T] use a splitter. TV/VCR type will work. Convert coax and fittings over to [F] connectors. Then you can even add a switch if you need it. If installation works, then you can dump some real money into commerical splitters as per the other post. Good Luck.
