Does anyone have any trouble with multiple scanner monitoring? When I have multiple scanners running at the same time, I notice that there are clicking sounds when 1 scanner has transmissions. Sometimes when a frequency comes in, and that frequency is on another scanner, The frequency on one of the scanners will come in and just start making clicking noise. When the transmission finishes, The other scanner will continue scanning. Is there a fix for this?

Like any interference, move the equipment apart, separate the antennas, put filters on all wires, us a good ground.

Its hit or miss!

Re: what is the cheapest filter that you recommend?

what filter is the cheapest to buy? And what do you mean by good ground?

I would pick up a book on antenna systems and station design.
ARRL has some great books.
Ferite cores on each power audio and data line is a good start.
Put them on as close to the equipment as practical.

Are you using external anteannas? If not start.

A good ground is very situation specific.
The ARRL books will cover proper stationa nd antenna grounding.

Maybe you just need to move the antennas further apart and do the filtering.
