Has anyone thought about trying to have one of these meetings on a week night? Some of us would be able to work our skeds around a monday/tuesday/wednesday/thursday evening. I realize that it might not be a 4 hour meeting which is what you guys try to have on the weekend meetings, but maybe a few more hobbiest could make it and meet everyone. I know for one, I would be able to make an evening meeting much easier than I will ever make a weekend afternoon meeting and I would very much like to attend one of these gatherings.

Just some thoughts for the head planners of the "Scanner Meet"

Is anyone aware that May 14th is Mother's Day? I don't know about you guys, but I will be spending some quality time with my mommy. I usually just do dinner with her (or something fairly short) but this time I'm taking her to a Mother's Day Chocolate Extravaganza that takes place at the same time that this Scanner Meet does.

Here is what I think-

May 7th- Pretty short notice
Mat 14th- Mothers day
May 21st- Original date that didn't work for everyone
May 28th- Memorial Day weekend

So now we are looking at June

June 4th would work good for me, and give everyone lead time to get the day off if possible.

How 'bout it?
