scanner programming

Can someone program a scanner like the 346xt and 396xt for SPVM, Montreal fire, Longueuil Fire and perhaps Longueuil Police? I hope I don't break any forum rules by saying that but I don't mind paying for it. Cheers

I can do,the 396 for you with my freescan program. Not sure if it will work on the 346 or not..
I have all the SIM..SPVM:...LONG FIRE..& all south shore fire from beloeil west to Chateauguay and Huntingdon/Ormstown...plus alot of the SQ for this area.. contact me by private message on how to contact you..


Btw...Longueuil police is not scanable

Freescan will do all the Uniden DMA scanners, 346XT included.

You really need a BCD396T or XT for Montreal, though, since SPIM is on a P25 system.

Yup. If you have things like GPS coordinates in the config Freescan is smart enough to know which radios can use those. Should be a straight upload otherwise. I use the same files in my 396XT and 996XT, but those are very similar radios. Grab the config out of the 346 before you do anything else then you can always just restore from that if it all goes awry.

I know you've been awhile..
But it's not SPIM anymore..lol
Went from... MFD to SIMFD to SPIM to SSIM to SIM (although the official title is Service de Securite des Incendies de Montreal) post merger they were forced to remove the "SS" from SSIM logo..patches ..and vehicules to only SIM. A certain part of the community were offended by the "SS" part. So it was dropped.

Yes Longueuil Police has an online feed..but this supplied by someone that has a scanner connected to a computer running a DSD program then uploaded for the feed..but it still not monitorable by anyone just using a scanner...Longueuil Police is an EDACCS ProVoice system that is not scanable by a scanner alone.
