Spliter does what it says, it splits. So on weak distant signals, you will have issues.
Multicoupler, if it has zero loss between ports then it’s not degrading your signal so there should not be any difference.
Amp. How is it being used? If you’re using the amp to basically receive the signal because it’s weak then you might not hear it at all without the amp. If the amp is overloading the scanner then it would be better to attenuate the signal before it hits the scanner
