Mechanicsville looks to be within range of 3 (maybe 4) towers of the Hanover Simulcast. Expect a degree of simulcast distortion here with any non-Uniden SDSx00 scanner. Whistlers are particularly prone to it
You can use ARC500 or PSREdit500 software. Both are excellent programs and have a free trial period to decide which one you like better. I would avoid Win500. The author has disappeared, and some members have had problems obtaining keys after paying for them. I use Butel ARC500 Basic for my Radio Shack PRO-106, the older brother of your scanner. Both use the same software.
