I think we need a more detailed expalantion of usage. If the OP is visiting 10 airports and 10 railway stations a day without returning to base then I can see the problem, but not many people visist that many locations each day. I don't know about railway but certainly each aiport will have it's own set of frequencies so with one airport per bank 10 airports could be covered per day.

Frequency managament is generally a personal thing so unless a scanner has say have 1000 memory locations that can be configured as 1000 banks & 1 channel, 200 b & 50 c, 100 b & 100 c, etc. then they will always be limitations for some people.

Why not just make it simple buy the NEW 160 and an old EBAY LAPTOP a copy of PROSCAN and have multiple saved setups that you can change between presaved.
Well the BC125AT is supposedly an excellent scanner for what wants. Airband. MIL and Rail. I'm seeing these reveiews/recommendations all over the place. If the scanner works in all other respects for the OP then it is purely a managment / convenience use issue that would easily be sorted with a PC & program. No need to buy another scanner.

You won’t go wrong getting a 325P2. Just got mine this past week and enjoying it. About as good as my old 436 I used to own. A bit smaller too.
