ScannerLive not connecting to Broadcastify

Scannerlive is not connecting to Broadcastify feeds on both of my PCs. It is connecting to a non Broadcastify feed. Anybody else experiencing this?

yup, same here, was just going to ask the same thing. Tried another computer also with same result. Hopefully temporary, This program has worked flawlessly for many years

Well shoot. I thought it was just me. Mine died about an hour or so ago. Like yours, my non-Broadcastify feeds still work fine. It's been getting a little flakey lately, but I've always been able to fix it with a simple quit and reload. Now I'm dead in the water with only a few feeds left.

Is there another program like ScannerLive that will scan several feeds at once? If Rob would sell the sourcecode, I'd continue it's development.

I just emailed with Rob. He says that RR made some server changes that have created an issue. Rob says that he is on the road for the next 11 days, so it might not get fixed very quickly, unless RR sees what happened.

Sounds like I'll be on Winamp till it gets fixed.

I think it might be because we’ve rolled out all new infrastructure for the Broadcastify web and api components and it’s all https now... non SSL clients are redirected and it’s possible ScannerLive isn’t handling the SSL components correctly. I’ve spoken to Rob as well and he’s on it.

Might be easier to unban him for the greater good. Would be a lot easier for tech support in my opinion. Just a thought I had no more no less.

I also hope this gets fixed soon. ScannerLive is the best application I have seen for monitoring multiple feeds.

I've written an exception in our content delivery network which I think will fix the Scanner Live problem - can you guys check and see if Scanner Live is working OK now?

I just gave it a try. It continues to not connect to my existing RR links. When I try to add a new RR link, I get an error window that says (404) Not found.

I don't understand what you mean by "RR Links" ?

Scanner Live is Broadcastify... ?

OK - I deleted some old API redirects that are YEARS old this morning. I restored them - is it working now?

Correct. However, ScannerLive under the menu heading of "Bank Setup', has a choice of "Add RadioRef Feed". When I select that, normally I am given a series of choices to select from; Country, State, County, etc. It's when I try to add a feed from RR, that the program crashes.

HOWEVER! I just tried it again, and now it is up and seems to be working fine. Could be that it took a while for the server to update. Whatever you did seems to now be working.

Uh Oh. Scanner Live seems to have lost it's connection again. Was this another update??

Download the latest version of Scanner Live. You should get 1.9.0. However, if you get it now, even though the download is called 1.9.0 on the web site, the "about" text still calls it 1.8.0. If you download the most recent version, it will work again.
