Other than needing to use a money order, was there a reason you bought from Scannermaster and not directly from Butel? Either way, they should be able to immediately send you the registration keys since you are downloading and not ordering a CD.

Once you have the key, you can download from the Butel site. AFAIK, there is no difference between the ARC500 from Scannermaster and ARC500 from Butel.

I just called ScannerMaster this afternoon. They told me that they just received my money order today, it will take one to two days to process my order. In the e-mail they wrote on 09-07-2010 they had my m/o but the software was out of stock until Monday 9-13-2010. I just hope to have it by then.

Home Patrol -1 ok read the manual saw the video was wondering why the HP doesn't scan the freq that is entered by direct entry ? do I need the software to do this ? thanks Ron
