What do you want to scan?

Lots of traffic to hear in Yellowstone Natl Park. Several linked amateur radio networks around the state.

Like most of the country the more people the more radio traffic. People are the cause of radio usage, the exception is a natural cause such as weather and geological conditions that can affect unpopulated areas. Most of the time you will hear some radio traffic anywhere in WY, they have a very good radio system and a lot of towers on higher elevations. It's not uncommon for a tower to be heard over a hundred miles away.

That sounds good to me. I have also heard there are alot of dead spots as far as cellphones go.
