Im not new to radio, just this site. What is scid? Is there some way I can load the freqs into a pro 96 by using it? TIA

You don't, not directly as a user. The SCID is an internal RR database identifier. The identifier is used by the software vendors utilizing the XML download capabilities here at RR.

You say you have Don Starrs's software Win96. Assuming you have the current version, then start a new template, use the File menu item and look for "Web Import", go from there. If you have further questions about the software usage, please direct them to the Software Support forum.

I'm sorry that my last post sounded terse. I was doing a lot of updating and email answering and was in the "give the answer and move on" mode. Questions need to be asked and yours was reasonable from a new user. Now, if you had been here for awhile and asked that.... :lol:
