Only time I hear traffic down there is when I go to Omaha (which ain't much). Can occasionally catch the Dodge North tower from here in Norfolk, but only on the RS mag-mount antenna (which I'm using for my feed antenna at the moment).

They just granted it late this week. No more listening to them with scanner.

ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - WPDR546 - SCRIBNER, CITY OF

Hello. after following that link, i can see who the license is registered to, the address, and frequencies, but i can not for the life of me find any mention of "NXDN" anywhere in there. Just trying to learn here; can you explain how you know its NXDN?

same with snyder, where do you see "analog narrowband"?

Thank you! that answers my questions perfectly.

fwiw, a few days ago i heard a control channel type noise come out of the Scribner FDs frequency for 1-2 seconds.(no tones enabled on my scanner) It seemed like a strong signal; loud and clear. Lasted less then 2 seconds though, and i havent heard it since.

I am glad I can help.

They also moved their repeaters to a better location. They used to have the repeaters at the station in town, and now they are east of town.

I found out last week that they are still using analog. No digital for them.

That's great news! (not that it would have mattered TOO much to me)

So with all of the great info you contribute, is it safe to say you work in the public safety field?
