SDR... CB radio... is it safe to run at same time

Good afternoon all.... I have gotten my sdr up and running again..... I have a CB I would like to add to my equipment here..... Before I fire up a CB will this have any ill effects on my SDR equipment// Antenna will be a cheap 24 in magnetic mount type in my living room, my SDR antenna is in my attic.

A new way to communicate with social distancing.... but figured I should check in beforehand....

The CB will have no effect on the SDR as long as the antenna is a few feet away.

AHHH thank you... more than 10 ft apart..... Was my thread moved?? I thought it was in the SDR forum..?? I couldnt find it..?

I'd really rethink that 'mag mount in the living room idea' of yours. Not only will it be in a structure, surrounded by wires, pipes and structural material (which can limit its sensitivity to reception) ...but you're going to be dumping all that CB goodness right out of the antenna...right into your room, where there is kinds of stuff that can be in a room that can be affected by elevated RF.
