Hi, I wanna buy a SDR but I don´t know much about the subject. Would any of you give me some information about the main features you think are important to help me decide?

Hi, I wanna buy a SDR but I don´t know much about the subject. Would any of you give me some information about the main features you think are important to help me decide?

It depends on what you want to do with the SDR. What frequency ranges do you want to cover? What kind of transmissions do you want to monitor?

For example the WinRadio G33DDC is an outstanding SDR, however if you want to listen to local public service VHF / UHF frequencies it would not work at all.

I don´t have experience

I was told that the main thing about the SDR IQ, it has an ADC of 14 bits to 190KHZ, frecuency range the 100Hz-30Mhz,but It doesn´t record the espectrum or take a picture,.you think these features are important?
