sdr+ mono audio initialised

hi ive got sdr and sdr#
set up with my rtl dongle,i also have vacaudio cable downloaded ,i have had this dongle working perfect for months then after a re install ,the sdr is still picking up analouge broadcasts but the dsd+ will not decode just keeps coming up mono audio initialised press esc to escape ,i have got all the defaults set to the vb cable input and vb cable and mme windows output but keep getting the same message,its driving me mad ive heard people on about this before but not heard the resolution ,i definately have strong digatal signalsw it just wont strt decoding ,any help please four days trying now ,thanks

Be sure that the input and output device numbers you are specifying in your command line that starts DSD+ are correct (i.e. input from the VBCable Output device and output to the speaker device). I found that my machine occasionally flips the order of the input and/or output devices (e.g. I call DSD+ with -o1, but the Speaker device has become #2 and VB Cable Input device has become #1, causing it to feed its own output back to itself, making a "stuttering" sound!).

It would be cool if we could specify the input/output devices for DSD+ by (partial) name instead of relying on the numbers to be static.
