SDR Sharp 1357 stopped working

Today my SDRSharp version 1357 decided to stop working when using the Frequency Manager and Scanner plugin. It runs fine as long as I don't use the FM and S plugin, It just freezes up and I have to exit out of the program. I have another version (1361) that I can run with no problems so far so I don't think it is the computer or the drivers or anything like that. Also the version 1361 does not have the line like the one below, I honestly don't know how it got into the config file.

I remember in some version you used to have to go into the config file and adjust one line kind of like the one I have posted below. I am just wondering if anyone else has version 1357 do you also show the line below in your config file?

Also what exactly does the author mean by " If your're smart enough to uncomment this, please fix rtl_tcp. Is this line the reason that SDRSharp version 1357 does not want to work on my computer.

So I think I solved my own problem, I just ran as an Administrator and so far it is working?

If you never had to run in admin mode before, you did not solve the problem. You just found a work a round. I have 1413, and that stopped working. Wont run in either mode. I also have 1361 and that runs fine. Not sure why 1413 stopped but I read somewhere that 1361 was the most liked or most stable.

I should have mentioned that all copies of SDRSharp that I had in those two account fell under the same spell. Fortunately I have copies on a disc and after deleting the two accounts and creating two new accounts I was able to start fresh. In the new accounts I didn't have to run the SDR versions in Admin mode and the account that they are in is a User account only.

In reference to my original post do you have any idea what that one line means?

I believe it adds the rtl tcp source option to sdrsharp. The only time i use my tcp is when I run dsd and fmp. If your just running a usb dongle, you just want rtl_usb. I am not sure why that version was released with that line and text.

How do I add the TCP source option? thanks

Just noticed the TCP line is commented out os SDRSharp.exe.Config

so I have answered my own question. I will have to use the old version for TCP
