I find the volume very low, also the waterfall is freezing from time to time , also the program will not startup now and then. I find that the signals are a lot stronger when using SDRuno than SDRConnect, I also will stick with Uno until they come out with some more releases. But it's great there is a new program in the works.

Yea just a preview version, I hope it doesn't take years for the full features to be implemented.

Have downloaded to Windows pc, the new Connect version of SDRPlay.
It appears, and apparently recognizes the radio.

How do I tell it to start running ?
I cannot find the icon, or means, to actually get it running.

And, is there a link, please, to a User Manual for ?

Top left hand corner there is a green marker, click on it. The program will start.

I'm looking forward to installing SDRconnect on a Linux box to see how it performs. Hopefully there will be periodic updates.

Be aware that installing SDRconnect on my Windows 10 box overwrote the older SDRplay driver (3.07). The updated driver effectively disabled my DSDplus Fastlane install. The fix was easy, but I sure wish the DSDplus devs would update their app to a current SDRplay API.

I've got SDRconnect installed on Win11 and Linux Mint 21.2. With Linux it has encountered several issues with Audio (doesn't remember or can't find the driver) and screen freezes, yet the RSP continues to play.

Just keep in mind it's only a preview.

I installed SDRconnect on a Dell Inspiron laptop (core i5 8th gen) running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. It worked as advertised on the first try. Now I need another RSP for this setup.

I am trying to get SDRConnect to run on Zorin OS 16.
I have gone through the terminal installation process twice.
It shows up on the start menu but wont start.
I have got SDR++ and Gqrx running ok but neither of them will run my RSPdx
I have Linux mint on another drive, I might try it on there and see if it's a Zorin thing.

Not familiar with Zorin. Is it Ubuntu based?

For SDR++, you did install the SDRplay API?

"uname -a" tells me it is Ubuntu

I just ran the install for SDR++, nothing else.

SDRconnect runs well thus far on a Mac Mini M2. Time will tell as I dig in. I still run SDRuno on a PC and tablet. Many things improve as time goes by, so I am looking forward to future updates.

SDRconnect is running nicely so far on my IMac 2020 Intel core i5 with 8gb ram.
I use it with my RSP1A and API 3.25. I was running sdr++ with API 3.07 nicely but when I download the new API it didn’t recognize my RSP1A.

SDR++ hasn't been compiled to recognize the new API.

Yup I figured that but didn’t mention lol. I’ll concentrate on SDRconnect because right now it was easy to install and operate for a newb like me. I have a HP pc with Windows 11 and I use SDRuno on that which is a learning curve but enjoyable.
