I can't even open SDR#. Something isn't adding up.

Sdr will open even when an sdr is not connected so its not the dongle. 1920 opens fine without any dongles attached.

I may try a reload of Windows 10, but man, I have things set nice outside of SDRSharp.....

I would hold off on that.

If it were me, which its not, I would right click the unknown device, choose delete with remove driver, and refresh device manager and see if that fixes itself.

Open Sharp it stop loading on Frequency Manager, close on the task bar with right button, open again, its stop on Scanner Metrics plug In, close again on task bar, Sharp loading normally after closing second time.
Weird?

If the freq manager you have compatible with the version of sdr@ your using?

Hi, just installed. Unzip to desktop folder, run setup, run Zadig, opening normally!
I only need scanning plug ins, will install manually to Plug Ins folder
I may check Community Plugins edition again

Hi all, been busy so haven't checked in.
Sdrsharp, newest version has been loaded for a few months and worked like a champ. Everything was 100%. I tried to open it this past Sunday and it would just simply disappear. I un-installed and reloaded with no effect. As I type this I am reinstalling W10.

Will report later if it (SDRsharp) works or not.

What a pain....

Hi, don't just reinstall Windows anytime SDRsharp goes wild!
Seems to be too much work

You may try other things, eg. system restore to some previous stable date

Run some cleaner eg Ccleaner with Ccenhancer installed, delete Temp files and Prefetch files
Download/install UnigetUI and update all available Windows apps applications, some will not as they may require manual command line updates, ignore them
Reinstall SDR sharp, i usually unzip to SDR desktop folder, run install batch file etc, restart PC and bingo or nothing again ?????
It may help, good luck

I think it has to do with the .net being wrong. I remember one program needing to be run with .net9. SDRsharp needs to be .net8.
Will know more tomorrow left PC at work so not to smash it with hammer at home. 😇

It was definitely the .net. Some where along the line I screwed it up. Lesson learned...

Now to figure out FMS scanner groups and slow scan rates for 16 air freqs. Sheesh...
