OK That makes sense but apparently either the subscriber or base station is having a problem getting a gps signal? Or maybe for some reason the agency I am listening to doesnt have the subscribers set up for gps yet? You can see both ID's for the 2 entities communicating but when I look at the LRRP map feature and zoom in to my area I dont see activity.LRRP is Location Request Response Protocol. Basically it's a means for the network to find the location of subscriber radios (GPS).

On a Moto P25 system, you typically aren't going to see lat/long/direction/range information just by normal monitoring. You'll see messages like you are seeing there on your screen, but you won't see actual lat/long data. If available from that particular system, that information is usually transmitted by the mobiles on a voice channel input. And that means you'd have to be pretty darned close to the mobile unit to even hear it, and then it would have to be transmitting that info.I have been seeing a lot of these entries in purple. Not sure what it means but someone said it could be some type of location/gps thing?
