Then don’t mess with it, because it looks like a $650 mistake in the making.
It's a simple question. I wouldn't be asking this question if i didn't know what I was doing. I dont have my old swollen battery of I could just simply use that and figure it out in 2 seconds. I still amazes me how most post get more comments that have nothing to do with the original question.

I'm just curious why you need to know that information?
I probably don't know what i'm doing to be honest. I received my Electrical Engineering degree from this school most have never heard of back in 2007, MIT. I currently work as a Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Critical infrastructure architect for several large energy providers. I found this job on craigslist 10 years ago and said what the heck go for it. Wing it ! Most of the time i have people from reddit answer my questions or I watch Youtube videos.

To be honest I'm feeling Lazy today and didn't want to take the scanner apart just to find the positive and negative terminal. So I walked to my next door neighbor and pulled his battery out of his sds100 and a voltmeter gave me the answer in 3 seconds.

im posting a pic so others seeking the same information won't have to justify their abilities, skills, and intended purpose for said information.
