SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 lost its beep

I have had the SDS100 for over 2 years. Was simple to use right out of the box. Everything programmed well with Sentinel. The last 2 months I have had issues with picking up conversations. The other thing is it stopped "beeping" after transmissions and randomly as it does. Can someone tell me if I have changed a setting or if perhaps my scanner is not functioning properly anymore?

Then it's not the scanner, it cannot generate a beep after a transmission, that has to come from the system. And as you have issues picking up transmissions it seems logical as you seem to sometimes miss the end of a transmission. Missed transmission often comes from interference from other transmitters at other frequencies that block your monitored frequency. First try IFX to the voice channel frequency and then try the different filter settings for the site to see if you can find one configuration that doesn't get interfered.
