SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 Scanner Screen Problem

I just bought a new SDS100 and it's two days old and I noticed that if you look at the screen from the left or right angle you can see the White light bleeding through both the left and right side. Are all SDS100 Scanners made the same way ??? Looks like the screen is placed back from the glass window it's not snug to the window.

Pretty much like that on mine and others I've seen. You only see it when you turn it to the side, you should not see it straight on.

There have been reports of it actually being crooked and a large gap was seen on one side on the lower part. I saw that post a while ago.

It's common to see a little backlight around the edge of the screen when you look at it at an angle. But there shouldn't be any visible gap when you look at the screen straight-on.

Ok everyone thanks for the information, I was just wondering, it's ok when you look at the screen head on.
