When monitoring a trunked system with multiple sites, is there a way to adjust the time that each site is scanned before moving on to the next site? (DMR and NXDN). Sometimes it seems to hang on each site for a very long time before moving on.

That can be caused by setting squelch too low. That will make the scanner waste time trying to parse bits out of static before giving up and moving on. If squelch is set appropriately, dwell time on a site will be 1-2 seconds max, depending on data received from the control channel.

I'm having a similar issue except it seems to take longer for the scanner to ID Scan HB between talkgroups. Any way to improve this? My squelch is default @ 2. All other settings are also default.

On a tunked system squelch can be zero. Try it.

Not if you want it to scan properly. Setting to zero can result in it taking a long time to find the control channel and can also cause it to hang after comms end (if end code is not detected). Squelch should always be set high enough to be above the noise floor.

The only time that's a good idea is if you're holding on a single site with a weak signal. If you're scanning multiple sites it causes the scanner to hold on sites excessively long times.

Site hold means it will stay on that site all the time.
