I have my SDS100 setup to scan various channels. For some reason it gets stuck on 1 channel. The channel is below. When stuck there is no traffic on the channel. I have to hit the channel button twice or twist the knob to clear it. It scans fine for a long time and than randomly locks on that channel again. Any ideas why it would do this?

Enter the frequency by pushing the Channel button+frequency+Channel button. Then set squelch to 0 and listen to the audio. You step up and down in frequency with the dial knob to compare with other frequencies. Perhaps you have some kind of interference on that precise frequency and you can try different filter settings and/or IFX to see if that helps to clear out the interference.

Set the Tone to 100.0 PL on the offending frequency? Unless an actual radio/user has a stuck open Mic (Using 100.0 PL)
the scanner should resume scanning and not get stuck on an open carrier or birdy (Birdies don't generally have a squelch tone), Can't do anything about an open mic or defective radio though. 2¢
