SDS100/SDS200: SDS200 Custom Search

I noticed trucking that the display shows the Site ID (which I really like this feature) and System ID, however when in custom search mode I don't see the Site ID on the display but do see the System ID. Is there a setting to show the Site ID when in custom search?

Sounds like you are thinking about the 'control channel only' option that is available in the DMA scanners (such as the XT & P2 series), but not the database/HP scanners.

Yes. I have it set up on my 200.

Go into menu-display options.

Turn the large knob to highlight the area you want to site id to display and then hit E Yes

Brings this up

Rotate the large knob to scroll thru your available choices. When Site id is selected, hit Y Yes on keypad.

After you press E Yes, this screen will pop up again. Hit Avoid on keypad and it takes you back to where you were before you hit Menu...

(note, your only allowed certain items in certain spots. Site id will be accepted where mine is, the 2 slots above, and the 3 to the left. There may be other spots also.)

It's better to use Sentinel to get a better visual of what can go where. Just click a spot on the left, and hit the drop down on the right..
