SDS200 Lan issue

I am attempting to connect my sds200 via the LAN. I followed all the steps to set it up and acquire the ip address. When I open proscan and follow the steps, I get to the url comm port setup, type in the url and it tells me udp not connected. I cant seem to get it connected. Im sure its some stupid simple setting....

Quick question! Are you connecting both to your router or are you connecting direct from the computer to the ethernet port on the SDS200?
