This SDS200 has 1 fav list in it....monitoring just a few P25 trunked TG's...when rx'ing a signal, it acts like it's checking for priority traffic somewhere....the inbound traffic is interrupted every few seconds. But it's not programmed for anything priority, as far as I can see. Not sure why it's acting like this, but it is undesirable....

The customer...and I...don't use those features.....can you shed some light on how to check that at all, Navy?
The display isn't displaying anything weather or close call....normal display for the TG its receiving...just interrupted traffic

While not the same unit, the below picture shows what the icons will look like...

Ok, am I missing something? This is a good reference to have....ty.....but does this address the issue at hand?
Even when I set the radio to listen to a single TG only, it still exhibits the same symptom...

It was for you to confirm whether or not the CC or weather icon were displayed on the radio with the issue.

He already gave you ideas, did you take the time to check through all of them to make sure nothing got turned on accidentally?

I'm sorry that I don't understand......I am trying here.......If I set the radio to listen to a single TG only, it still acts like it's sampling for priority traffic. I'm trying to post a short vid of what I'm seeing here but it isn't working.

The priority modes will jump off a hold on a channel to check the priority channel, so yes even while you are held on a single TG.

Post a pic of scanner display. We don’t need a lo-res video of it happening as we all know what is happening except for identifying which specific priority mode is causing it.

Good eye. I missed that the first few times I looked at the screen. Close Call is easy to turn on by accident and not realize you turned it on. Weather Priority is also easy to turn on without realizing it.

You have close call on. See wasn’t that easy.
The CC symbol is the C in a circle above first N of the word channel in lower right part of screen.

I wonder how many times some sort of priority has been accidentally turned on over the years by friends and customers I dealt with?
There was an old guy who kept turning it on, over and over again and it seemed like he was unable to ever learn how to do anything but push manual, scan and the up and down arrows on his Pro-43's. I'm guessing why he turned it on so often was it was right below the scan button. Another guy used to call me all the time, he turned on Close Call a lot and couldn't figure out what was going on.

I always avoided using it on my own radios, it annoyed me no end and seemed to kick in exactly when I was listening to something good. Once I had enough radios, I usually just put one of them on the channel I really cared about, and let the others I had on scan away.
