SDS200 Updating Timeframe

Hey everyone!
I'm new to scanning, programming, and everything in between. I have a Uniden SDS200, which works great; I was just wondering how often people plug in to update. I know agencies tend to switch either frequencies, systems, etc from time to time, so unsure if people do it every month, few months, etc.

I only update the full database when areas of interest had changes. Your a premium subscriber so go thru the database and on all agencies/systems your interested in, click watch and add them to My RR. Then just keep an eye on that for green or yellow which indicates something changed. If you travel and use gps, its wise to update the full db before traveling.

Also it helps to keep an eye on your local discussion forum for ongoing discussions so you're abreast of future changes / migrations (some may not happen for months/years down the road) that may affect agencies you listen to. Welcome to the forums
