I have the new Anker power hub that @pmtchr showed. It works on my phone, but not my tablet for some reason. The problem I'm having now is as soon as I hook my phone up and open the SDS Remote App and connect to the SDS100, it automatically turns the GPS feature on. How in the heck do I turn that off? Otherwise the scanner will not receive...

Disregard the above post. I deleted the app from my phone and then restarted it. I reprogrammed the SDS100 (without changing and parameters), and restarted the scanner. While "GPS" is still showing on the phone app and the scanner itself, at least now I'm receiving now with the GPS display on, even though I don't have any GPS selected or set up.

I read Scanner Master's bad news today regarding the RH-200 control head - it's a no-go due to price to build them for mass production. So that leaves us with this app, and there's another one out there that I see on RR, but forgot who's doing it.

I can't get it to run on my tablet, so I installed it on my phone and tried connecting it to my 436HP. The app connected perfectly, but I immediately got the "nothing to scan" message. GPS shows up on the scanner display, so I know it's talking to the phone. I've never had a GPS connected to this scanner before, so I don't know what baud rate to go with, or whatever else needs to be set up on the scanner side of things. Also, my phone was sending all zeros for location. I'm sure I don't have all of the permissions and location sharing set up correctly, but I will need to wait a few for it to charge before messing with it.

Any suggestions on where to start?
I'm in the same boat. Tried on my sds100, and 536. Not sure on cabling. Using a USB splitter( will that work?) to join the cables. ON the sds100, which port are we using? The mico is for regular gps, but are we using the mini like we did to program? And then what settings on phone if any? Scanner baud rate?
