I'm told that the Casino Pier radios have 16 channels and they use them all. Security, Maintenance, Game stands, Food stands, Rides, Go karts, the new mini golf course, and management.

I see that they are licensed for 8 channels. I'm guessing they used multiple PL's. I have to do some investigation.

They most likely use MURS,I would monitor the ones listed below:

Venice Amusement Corporation (Boardwalk):
151.9250 S - Boardwalk Operations / Beach Attendants - PL 179.9 Hz
151.8650 S - PL 136.5 Hz
151.8350 S - Concession - DPL 731
154.6000 S
154.5700 S
151.9550 S
151.8950 S
151.8050 S
151.7450 S - PL 136.5 Hz
151.7750 S

2 more frequencies not listed in the DB:

151.7150 S - Skyride Operations - PL 146.2 Hz
151.7500 S - Breakwater Beach - DPL 503

Also not directly in town but Mathis Bridge construction operations are being heard on 464.5750 DPL 261 (Schiavone Construction) 452.50000 is another frequency that I haven't heard active but it's licensed for analog and MotoTRBO.

Oh, I need to get my hands on one and read it. That would save a whole lot of time trying to figure out PL's and channel names. LoL... ;)

Elias,

Have added this info to the DB:cool:! Licensed under WQXE420, Looks like they have 3 repeater frequencies, 151.2950, 155.1150 & 159.1275 plus a number of mobile frequencies in which one is being used for the beach attendants on 153.8450. Would be helpful to determine the input frequency of the remaining 2 repeater frequencies. So if you can mointor and advise it would be appreciated:D!

Thank you sir!

159.1275 & 151.295 are the two most active so far this weekend. I programmed in all the channels from the FCC license, and these two are getting the most chatter.

i'm picking up 158.9025 with a 036 DPL,heard them talking earlier about switching to channel 2. I never heard anything on the other frequencies. I'll see if I can get official word on how the channels are actually set up.

I am also getting 159.1275 with a DPL of 074. Confirmed beach units also. Different DPL than what is listed in RR database.
