Dear Members,
I hope this message finds you in good spirits. My name is Michael, and I am reaching out to you regarding an exciting initiative that I am undertaking: the revival of the "Scanner Dude" book. As many of you may remember, this publication served as a comprehensive resource for scanner frequencies and operations in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties. Its significance as a valuable reference tool has not gone unnoticed, and I believe there is a considerable interest in bringing this project back to life.
I am currently in the process of gathering information and insights to restart the publication of this important resource. To ensure that the new edition is both comprehensive and relevant, I would greatly appreciate any contributions you may have regarding the counties that were previously covered, as well as any new developments or changes in the landscape of scanner frequencies that should be included in the updated version.
In addition to gathering content, I am also seeking individuals who may be interested in collaborating on this project. Whether you have ideas to enhance the book's scope or specific expertise that could contribute to its accuracy and effectiveness, your input would be invaluable. It is my goal to ensure that the new edition of the Scanner Dude book not only meets the needs of our community but also reflects the most current information available.
For those who prefer to assist anonymously, please know that I welcome your contributions equally. Your support is crucial, and I am committed to respecting your privacy throughout this process.
Furthermore, I would like to mention that I have received full approval from Brian to proceed with this project, and we will retain the original name of the book as a nod to its legacy.
Please feel free to reach out to me via email at scannerdudebook@gmail.com if you have any information to share, ideas to discuss, or questions about the project. I am eager to collaborate with each of you and work together to bring this valuable resource back to our community.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
Michael B
