SEL button

Hi everyone my PSR 800's SEL is going crazy it's selecting and pausing everything. It's out of my control!!! I've reformatted and set the scanner to default values and that had done nothing! If anyone had any ideas that would be appreciated.

The only thing I can suggest is to open up the scanner - it is pretty easy, just don't force anything look for the screws. The faceplate comes off, shoot in some compressed air under the keys. Might have a little bit of lunch under there.

Thanks scos well I am not very good at opening up sensitive electronics like the PSR 800,

I would likely screw it up and then I'm in a really bad spot because its my first and only scanner.

Finally got it going seems holding the SEL button down seemed to do the trick. Why didn't i do that before???
