Like the setup. Is that Delorme GPS software you're running?

Yes, it is Delorme. Have it customized with draw files for commercial vehicle usage. Easy to use, and the custom draw files (scales, truckstops, low clearances, restricted routes, etc) interact well with the original 2006/2007 program. Voice activated, and I line the audio out thru truck stereo to hear the voice replies over the noise of a big rig. Works for me!

Yes, I use one of those BNC window clip mounts with a 6' length of coax attached to it, and have the Radio Shack 800mhz rubber duck on it. Works great.

Hey that sounds real cool, help me out here - how do I go about setting that up? My wife is all for that. She can track me when I am out west in places like Montana and Wyoming with zippo cell phone signal. Thanks for the advice!

Hate to pop your bubble, but the Galaxy 929 you mentioned is not a 10 meter radio. I own one. It's strictly CB.

Ny Galaxy radio with 3 numbers ie 929 or 959 are strictly cb it's the 2 number like 99v or 73v that are 10 meter rigs.. mobile radio's that is. Just a little info for ya..
