Is there a way to do a text search or frequency search of the Sentinel database? Is there a way to open this database in Excel?

Searching the Radio Reference DB would be a much easier way of going about such a task. (The entire Uniden Sentinel DB is derived from it anyway) Unless you want to search FL's you created.

No and no. Sentinel is freeware and is thus limited in its functionality. Proscan supports the ability to search pretty much any text tag saved in your favorites list AND also allows you to export as CSV so your favorites lists can be read in Excel
