OK, I did, and it did work. Thank you (and Whiskey3JMC). I had originally gotten confused by the answer that was directed to Caterpillar16 and didn't follow it.

I did follow Whiskey3JMC's recommendation though, and I find Proscan easier to use because it identifies which sites are frequencies.
OR...
Invest in Proscan, this way you can check boxes only for the sites & departments you want to add & it won't append the others you don't need ;)

Yes, the difference between conventional and trunked systems. In a conventional system, the channel you're monitoring is the frequency, but in a trunked system, the channel you're monitoring may be on different frequencies, due to not just the control signal, but the site, because it's the site's frequencies that send out the control signal and the voice signals. This is why you need to specify the site or sites for the service you want to monitor.

It's certainly more complicated that the days of just entering a frequency and sit back & relax... But then, conventional scanning has changed greatly in recent years. 🙃
