2! P25 X2-TDMA Systems...
Didn't think any of those were left.
but that's a different issue.

I think everybody in this thread can see it... I can see it in both versions of Sentinel...

And you can see this is the Homepatrol version of Sentinel...

I've seen this come up before. That system, MSWIN, is correctly listed in the RR database as a P25 Phase II. But, apparently, this system was originally flagged as the P25 X2-TDMA. The database in the HP-1/HP-2 version of Sentinel has retained that X2-TDMA flag, but in the Sentinel used for the x36HP & SDS series scanners, it is correctly shown as P25 Phase II, not X2-TDMA.

There are several systems in my area that are tagged the same way:

These are tagged correctly in newer version of Sentinel, yet different, and no longer correct, in Sentinel for the original HP scanners.

Okay guys. I downloaded the software on my laptop at home and updated the current database and it is displaying correctly and nationwide and statewide are showing info and includes the MSWIN. I’m not sure what’s going on with my office desk computer. It was displaying correctly earlier this week but now nothing shows on nationwide or statewide on office computer. I even uninstalled then rebooted the computer. Downloaded a fresh copy of the zip file and installed fresh again but it still will not display anything in nationwide or statewide.

Corrupted installation would be my suspicion. More specifically, corrupted database.

They may have FTP blocked on the office computers... Although you said it showed the latest DB date...
If your talking home office it could of corrupted as JB mentioned... Even on not at home work computer...

Uniden had a problem with the database for the HP1/2 a while ago. Maybe it's the same problem now as last time.

If that were the case, I would think everyone with that database date would be seeing it.

Uninstalling may not completely remove eveything to obtain a clean reinstall...

I updated my database yesterday (01-22-22) using Sentinel. I check the new database and can see MSWIN under Monroe County/Statewide and also in my area under Rankin County/Statewide. However, since downloaded the new database to my SDS100, I unable to pick up anything in my area (Rankin County) using the Full Database, nor my Favorites Lists. I have reentered my location using zip code, and still nothing. I also deleted Sentinel and the stored files and reinstalled it and the updated database. It was working and scanning fine until the new updated database. Maybe it's a glitch in the Mississippi Database. Currently, still trying to find a solution.

Check to ensure all service types listed in the "tag" column per talkgroup table are turned on for the talkgroups you want to hear. Yesterday was 1-11-23 BTW so if you're seeing 01-22-22 you're a year out of date

I have checked zip code, range, service types, all favorite list checked and on. I also deleted and reinstalled Sentinel software on Computer, and reinstalled database. Even though I did not get an error code for a corrupt SDHD card, I also re-formatting a new 32Gb micro SDHC.

This morning, the scanner was sporadically picking up some radio traffic when I was locked onto MSWIN, but do not know why it's a hit and miss situation.

****UPDATE: After reading many posts, and troubleshooting articles in Radio Reference, I believe my SDS100 has a cold solder connection. I will be packing it up and sending it to Uniden for repairs. Thanks for all the support and help.

When you format the SD card it has to be Fat32 only.

The problem with scanner occurred prior to reformatting SD card. I reformatted using Sentinel while the SD card remaining in scanner as per instructions. This would reformat SD card in the correct format. After reformatting and reprogramming, I put SD card into another working scanner, and it performed perfectly. Leaving me with but one conclusion, after researching and watching videos of SDS100 with a cold solder joint. The cold solder joint symptoms in the videos matched my exactly.

Although the problem with your scanner may not have been related to the SD card, just an FYI for future reference.....

Sentinel does not perform any formatting on the SD card. The "clear user data" process just writes the essential operating files to the card. Portions of the SD card could possibly still have problems after that process has completed.

Use this utility to format the SD card (recommended by Uniden):

I guess I could have been more precise about how I formatted SD card. I did use this utility to format card while it was in scanner (not in the computer)as per utility instructions, then I cleared user data using Sentinel as per the same instructions. Regardless, SD card had nothing to do with initial problem with scanner. Thank you for your suggestions.
