server time is wrong

I posted a message last night at about 20:32 eastern standard time and as soon as it was posted the server stamped the message at 01:03, which is about 31 minutes slow.

Any chance of correcting this?

I am not seeing that. I mean the server is off by a few minutes, but not 30+. Also, if you set your forum profile correctly, the posts will show on your correct time zone.

As a test, I am going submit this at 10:46 AM CST.

I'll check into changing my time zone display, but whatever time zone you are in, if the base time reference is off, then everything derived from it is pretty meaningless. I wouldn't have brought it up if it were only a few minutes. It was not insignificant last night when I posted. Based on your posts it looks to be about 8-9 minutes, so maybe there is something else going on here.

I don't know if he operates his own server or farms it out to a web host, but either way it should be trivial to run an NTP client and keep the clock set. I'd settle for a couple seconds error.
