Is there a reference somewhere to the Service Types by the numbers they use in the HPD files, i.e. 3 = Fire Dispatch, 2 = Law Dispatch, 8 = Fire-Tac, etc?

I thought I used to have one, but I can't seem to locate it.

I'm building a favorites list for NXDN by hand (using Notepad++) and I would like to not have every channel tagged as Fire Dispatch.

It might be in the remote control specs which I can't find the (Uniden) wiki link for at the moment. [Edit: Found those specs, the service types are not in there.]

Thanks in advance!

Jay - you listed them once (I Think) yourselk:)

If no one choimes in, just make a dummy with each one in order.

Thanks, the problem is that searching, both in the forums and on the wiki, for service type just returns every occurrence of either of those words - no matter what I do I can't get it to do "exact phrase" searching.

I may have to do what you suggest and put out a dummy FL.

I'm pretty sure it is the same # returned by the RRDB SOAP web service. I think there is a way to query that through a URL, but don't personally know how.

Thanks all. As suggested above what I ended up doing was making a dummy FL up with each type in one row. I now have a list and will populate my favorites list accordingly. :)

I'll post the list later in this thread in case somebody else has this question years down the road; hoping to avoid this situation:
