When you have limited space in your home office, you have to be strategic about where and how you place your gear. Well, this is my idea of condensing.. Much neater and much easier to operate too.

twin XTL 2500 mobiles, vhf 136-174 uhf 380-520 ( cps hex edited ) local vhf/uhf non-trunked systems.
twin sds 200s p25 trunked systems monitoring
twin bct15Xs civil/mil air monitoring
APX 8000 xe quad band (pretty much everything )

This is awesome! I am doing something similar with a music producer desk that has a build in rack system.

Took me a while, racking is not cheap..
A suggestion. Drill a small hole at the very edge of your mounting plates directly under where the USB and network cables come out of your scanner so you can run all the wires inside your cabinet and not have to route them along the front and around the outside. If you do it, make sure you file the edges afterward so you don't tear the cables. Will look much sharper. Just my opinion.

That's really good. I wish Scanner Master still made that PEMS case.

Sometimes it's more expensive than the radios we put in there!
Man, you said a mouthful there brother.... That was not the case with my SDS scanners as the faceplate was reasonably priced. The XTLs though, hmmm....I'd rather not say....:sneaky:
