Just listening to Shawnee Patch on DPS OKC site. The dispatcher said, "All units, move over to new talkgroup, '6A'."
Then the dispatcher was doing roll call with a new ID on the same site. The disp was on ID 2111 for a few seconds calling roll with the same TG as the Shawnee Patch with answers coming from the same old ID patch radio.

Anyone know what's up?

Okay...bunch of new ID's popping up with their traffic. Apparently they have come over to the state system. I guess that they are integrating into DPS now and using the same TG.

42576 is called "7A" (Unknown, but something like fire/EMS command or a mut aid)
56176 is called "7B" (Shawnee Fire)

7A traffic was "602" to "603" and "REACT 10 to 602"

I heard that Shawnee was going to connect their site to the SmartZone system. Maybe this just took place. Is anyone able to get over there to run trunker or a pro 96 on the system to see what system ID it is reporting? A site number, too?

42576

It appears as if 42576 is the 42 something - something - something that we heard at the RadioReference meeting last night. It also appears, according to the test page that was just transmitted, that it corresponds to Tecumseh Fire Department. :)

The 600 units are Kickapoo tribal police. 500's are Sac and Fox. So that was most likely the Pott county sheriff talkgroup.

Gone again?

About 9pm, I heard REACT Dispatch (TG 30320) tell all units to "switch back to the old system, the new system isn't working right." After that, I heard no more Shawnee traffic, Police, Fire or EMS.

Strange, because I didn't hear any problems. Wonder why they switched back.

I did notice that they were having trouble hearing.
You would hear them talking back and forth on this side with 100% audio and signal, however they were asking them to repeat information on scene because they were breaking up.

From the info I got, there was a delay in the changeover because their controller was not current enough to interface to the DPS network.

Once the new parts came in the integration could be completed.

Curious if this brings the Edmond changeover closer.
