Most guys are there to make $$$, try and swing a deal near the end of the flea market. The last thing the vendors want to do is pack up their
$h!T and haul it back home.
You may get lucky.

I don't know much about sw radios but one thing I do know is to watch increments that it scans. The cheap radios scan in steps of 5khz while the better radios can scan in increments of 1Khz. Makes a big difference as to the amount of stations you will hear.
