Signal R-535 Recevier

Does anyone know what country most of the Signal R-535 receivers were sold in and how many were produced? I have been looking for one of these for such a long time, almost 5 years. They are a incredible aircraft receiver. Any info appreciated and of course if you have one for sale get with me...

although a search for 'signal communication corp' shows that they seem to have changed direction somewhat....

The receiver itself doesn't appear to be anything special.

Ebay UK where u might be lucky enough to get one there was one advertised in a ham website in australia only lasted a few hours and was gone they sell for a good price.

Crop up regualrly on ebay in the UK. Silly money for the receiver usually.
