Hello,

Been looking at lots of good setups and figured I'd post a few pictures of my truck

Installed in 1998 Suburban

Mobile is a Kenwood TM 271
Scanner is a Uniden Sportcat 180

and trust me...no one wants to see my home setup....very very unorganized but revolves around my Pro 2055

Chris

I don't think I'd win the messiest desk contest...but may be a runner up.

As for the Kenwood I am very impressed with it. It is easy to program, great audio, scans channels extreamly fast...I could get away with no scanner using just the radio

I remember when Kenwood didn't scan very fast, ICOM had the fastest scan rate, and then Yaesu came out with some pretty nifty radios. The last Kenwood I had was the TM-V7A and was not too happy with it. It got stolen, and I bought a Yaesu FT-8900R to replace it. Its got a fast scan too, I'm guessing 15/20 channels a second. That kenwood looks so commercial though, it must be mil-spec 810.
