Simulcast digital audio distortion

Does anyone have a audio file of this so I know what it sounds like. I sometimes hear traffic that is distorted that I think is encrypted but can copy some of the wording so this may be what I am hearing.

You Tube has many videos of different scanners suffering from this. Some don't "sound" like anything like my WS1080 .. they spurt and sputter and you hear nothing while the reception bars are FULL or dancing up and down. Here's one such video
