Hi folks.

In case missed Harry's post in the AFFRCS thread, great skip today.
I'm currently listening to an 800Mhz Mildred Lake (Fort Mac) frequency in Edmonton on my PSR-500 with an 800MHz rubber duck. I'm located in Edmonton.

lots of skip on the 700mhz,getting lots of voice channels off a edacs system and getting a control channel on 862.8375 sid 6423h

Actually just heard on the Lethbridge RCMP repeater B4 a unit announce they were on HWY40 near boundry ranch which looks like its up in the Kananaskis area. Pretty good skip

Not sure I would call this skip. But inversion might be closer with the recent Chinooks blowing in Southern Alberta. Even hams in Medicine Hat have been able to get into the VE6UP 147.15 repeater NW of Lethbridge. Does happen more often in the hot summer. Haven't looked at the various VHF propagation web sites to see how the propagation is working.
