Talkgroup 1091 on the State DTRS is Douglas County Weather. I noticed that it was quite active during severe weather last year.

Funny you should post that as Tim is "Douglas County Weather" on that talk group.

Also heard today the Northern Colorado Skywarn is just the opposite of El Paso County not organized and many wonder if they still even exist. At least two warnings this season already and no activity on there freqs.

Dgls Wx Group

Yes would anticpate the wx talk group to be busy when severe weather occurs over the county, as well as the local ares group on 147.225!

BTW, also operate with Lakewood on EOC-PW talk group though not near as active as Dgls.
